After an untroubled spell at Polmadie on the outskirts of the Glasgow, early August saw 08954 taken out of traffic with engine issues. Although Polmadie have repair facilities, it was deemed more serious for the staff to undertake, so the 9th August it departed for the long journey south to Eastleigh and here it is seen arriving.
