Two weeks after the final HST workings from London Paddington Great Western Railway ran a farewell charity railtour for their much loved HSTs. The farewell train started from Bristol to Paddington and took in Oxford ndash; Hereford ndash; Abergavenny ndash; Carmarthen ndash; Paddington via Gloucester and then finishing with a non-stop trip to Plymouth. 43002 + LA72 + 43198 made up the tour and here is 43002 'Sir Kenneth Grange' leading pass the 20 strong galley at Didcot North Junction while forming the 1Z23 the 07:37 Paddington to Carmarthen via Oxford leg of the The Flying Banana tour.
